Thankful Posters

i think overall i did a pretty good job  designing my "thankful poster". there is good balance throughout my poster in my opinion, and the contrast between the bright colors and dark background is good too. there isn't really a pattern going on in my poster, but each section looks pretty proportionate to the rest. the rhythm seems to be allover pretty simple, because its not like its a complex work of art. the emphasis of my design is really whatever you want it to be. the middle "i'm thankful for..." should kinda be the emphasis, but the emphasis is really whatever color your eyes are drawn to first. i think my poster has good unity and really does work together. i kept the top things i am thankful for simple and straightforward. my favorite part of my poster is probably the bright pink and green colors or my "new family" section, because i am really excited about that because ive never had a sibling to live with before.

  11. The poster is nicely balanced how you have four frames coming out of each side and a simple shape in the middle that grabs your attention. I noticed that the letters got cut off on the bottom of the piano sentence. i would think of using a different color than black for the background to look less morose.

  12. i like all of the colors and that the pictures have borders and the font is really cute. i like it that it has a black background because it makes the colors stand out more.

  13. i like how in the drawing of you and hannah, hannah is taller than yo. it's adorable. =)
the colors are bright, which i think brings everything out, and draws the attention to more than one place.
the font saying what the picture is of is perfect for it. and the font describing it is also perfect.

  14. Your poster is very bright and eye catching. The black background with the colored squares draws people to look at what's on them, which is what you're going for. I like how the squares overlap; it keeps your poster from being too stiff and uniform.
I would probably change the color of "I'm thankful for", because I don't think the orange matches very well with the rest of your colors.
